New Internet Café in
WORCESTER June 2007
As an
exciting new venture the proprietors of the largest and newest Internet
café in Worcester selected the e-Box coin operated café package
because of its simplicity of use and competitive pricing. The facility also
offers the sale of major brand telephone accessories.
In
total 10 units have been installed and the package included all furniture,
P.C.'s, monitors, printers, desks, chairs and software. The Installation took
less than one day which allowed for a speedy opening of this much needed local
facility.
The
modular design of the e-Box range of coin operated Internet Café
terminals makes it the ideal choice for almost any environment. From a single
unit to fully equipped Internet café installation members of the public
simply drop in a coin (normally 50p, £1 or £2) and they are
instantly on the Internet for a pre-defined time. During this time they can
access email, bank accounts, search engines, play games, buy and sell on
auction sites or carry out all the functions they would normally expect from
the Internet. One minute before their time runs out a message box pops up
inviting them to insert an additional coin to continue. At the end of the
session all history files are deleted giving them the confidence that the next
user will not be able to access their personal information.
Using
the coin-operated approach means that dedicated staff are not required to run
the facility. The powerful inbuilt blockers makes the e-Box range of Internet
terminals suitable for use by children of all ages.

Internet system May 2007
As an
addition to the extensive facilities already offered to its members and
families the BA Concorde Club in Hounslow have introduced a 3 bay café
style Internet system in their restaurant/bar area. Members can enter selected
BA sites free of charge but pay a small fee for access to all other
sites.
They
can use the e-Box coin-operated system to surf the web, check and send e-mail
and carry out all other Internet activities in the certain knowledge that the
powerful blockers will protect their younger visitors from accessing adult
sites. Along with many other family orientated environments the Management
Committee of the Concorde Club identified the benefits of the e-Box 'stand
alone' coin-operated systems as needing minimal staff input yet still offering
this essential service to it's visitors both young and old.

Holiday Resort Unity, Brean Sands Somerset
May 2007
Holiday
Resort Unity incorporates the facilities of Unity Farm and Brean Leisure Park.
It is a family run business that has been offering holidays in this beautiful
part of the West Country for some 50 years. Starting with three caravans in the
corner of a field shared with 100 cows, the cows have now gone but the resort
still enjoys fantastic views over open countryside and boasts more facilities
than any other park in Britain.
Having
offered a traditional Internet access service to their guests over the past
years the Management of Holiday Resort Unity have identified the benefits of
the coin operated e-Box range of terminals. In order to increase the
flexibility the two terminals recently installed the units are connected to
Broadband via a wireless link and have been fitted with locking castors. This
allows the units to be easily moved to an alternative location when special
events are held. The public can still access the units in their new location
and the coin-operated units do not require staff involvement.

can be many different things to many different people. For some this family

previously offered a free connection to guests the management realised the
